Blogs are a great way to build traffic and promote products and services others might want. So we’ve allowed affiliate links and other forms of marketing. We ask that you don’t abuse this by creating blogs that are all links. This type of blog will not get you sales and will not get you rankings in the search engines. Rather, they degrade the entire site and spoil things for everyone.

If you want to promote something, then simply write about it. It doesn’t take all that long to write a 400 to 500 word article that can be used to arouse interest. It’ll help you get potential customers and build up your credibility as someone who knows what they’re promoting.
